Ornate Plastering is a small company established in 1978 and we have over 80 years of experience between the partners in all aspects of fibrous plastering. We specialise in supply and fit or supply for London and the South East.

With a large selection of moulds in stock we can undertake making up any cornices and mouldings to match the existing designs.  Whether you need repair, renovation or complete reproduction we can advise and produce to the exact design.  With the use of Architects drawings or the existing cornice/moulding we can create new pieces to replace damaged areas or match the mouldings that exist in the interior.

We also have a range of reproduction oak beams, RSJ covers, plate racks, panelling and corbels.  Each piece being a faithful replica of Olde English craftsmanship.  The detail is such that many a “timber expert” has expressed amazement at the reality of the finished product. Lighter than real wood, the mouldings are easier to handle and durable.

Whether you require Elizabethan, Georgian or Art Deco we can produce plasterwork from any period from 1700 to the present day and have worked alongside English Heritage on many listed buildings. We have also produced work for various government buildings, banks, and private homes and for a number of insurance companies where our specialised recreation techniques for existing mouldings were invaluable.

All work is carried out by experts in our own workshop.
