Welcome to the website for the Left Handed Flagpole Painters. We are specialist flagpole painters who continue to use the traditional left-handed painting style as developed in Roman times. We serve customers in London and the south-east of England and no job is too big or too small. We continue to strive for perfection in flagpole painting. Whilst the art of left handed flagpole painting is very traditional, we now use the most modern equipment (cherry pickers, mobile lifts) to approach the flagpole itself and development in paint technology allows us to guarantee our work for twenty years.. The company specialise in left handed flagpole painting and is one of a handful of firms in the UK continuing this ancient practice. We are full members of the British Left Handed Flagpole Painters Association. We have undertaken flagpole painting duties for a broad customer base including private clubs and societies, major corporations and government departments. The company was originally founded in 1970 by by Leftie Smith and has been family run since that time. Since 1998, the firm has been managed by Leftie's nephew, Brooklyn Smith, who has worked his way through various duties within the firm since joining in 1986.
