The annual ORC Team Championship takes place at Mildenhall on Sunday 22^nd November at 1pm. Following the Group A Supreme Championship, 47 Daniel Moulton left the stadium before having his car checked. For this mistake he was taken out of the result, however since then he has had his engine checked by Alan Thorndyke. The engine was still sealed and all checks that were made found no illegalities. This does not mean he will be re-instated into the result, but just proves that his engine wasn’t illegal. Unfortunately 82 Dave Lambs engine had an irregularity that was deemed illegal and disqualified from the result and from all points scored since the Festival of Speed when the engine was sealed. Dave Lamb and Polleysport are appealing the decision to the ORC.

Steve and Dave would like to thank all drivers who have supported them throughout the course of the year. They have both agreed to carry on running the racing next year subject to agreeing terms.

Also they would like to thank all banger and rookie banger drivers for their continued support throughout the year. A special thank you goes to the Gladiators for their support at all domestic meetings as well as representing PRI around the country at major seeded meetings. Congratulations to Phil Smith who won the World Cup and Craig Oliver for winning the European Championship both over in Belgium. Also congratulations to Mark Munson for winning the Arena Points and for returning from the World Cup in Scotland with the second place trophy.

Finally we would like to congratulate Matt Fuller for winning the PRI World final back in September for the second time, however this time was not from the front row, but from the back of the grid having qualified via the last chance. We are sure you will wear the gold roof with pride wherever you race between now and next September!

Steve and Dave would like to thank ALL members of staff and officials and also the various driver representatives on the PRI Committee for their support and effort throughout the season and hope to see you all again in 2010.

Steve and Dave would also like to thank Dave Bunce and all the crew of the St John Ambulance brigade, without whose help, we would not be able to run the meetings that we do.

SATURDAY PRACTISE

The last Saturday Practise will be on the 28^th November we then close for December and reopen on Saturday 9^th January 2010. Midweek practise will continue but has to be booked in advance.

OVAL RACING EXPO

The Oval Racing Expo is on Saturday & Sunday 23^rd & 24^th January. Rookie Bangers are on the Saturday night and there is a 30 car limit so if you want to do this you must book it now. Sundays racing will feature Micro Bangers and again there is a 30 car limit, so again book early.

The 1300 Stock Cars, Ministox, Group A Hot-Rods & Lightning Rods are all invited to take part in Sundays racing at the Expo. Please book in through the office to do this.
