BANGERS BOOKING IN FORM

As very few drivers use their booking forms these days it has been decided to do away with them. Instead you must phone the office on 01708 890719 or 867728 between 9 & 5 Tuesday through to Thursday.

DO NOT PHONE ON MONDAYS OR FRIDAYS FOR BOOKINGS.

LYDDEN HILL

The Lightning Rods and Ministox have been invited to race at Lydden Hill on Saturday 8^th September. Entry fee is £40 per car with 4 free entry tickets. It is an all trophy  meeting with NO prize money on offer. Ministox will be split into 2 groups with Whites & Yellows in one group and Blues & Reds in the other. All Ministox drivers will receive a trophy for competing at signing in. The Lightning Rods will contest 2 Heats and a Final with the top points scorers from the heats at the front of the grid for the Final with trophies for the 1^st three drivers in the Final. ROCKINGHAM

The Lightning Rods are once again on the bill for Rockingham on 15^th & 16^th September. Booking forms are available from the Incarace office on 0121 357 7328 or Spedeworth on 01252 322920.

2^nd SEPTEMBER

The Top 20 Elite Bangers for this meeting have now been cancelled and replaced with the Brisca Heritage Stock Cars. These are replicas based on cars that were originally raced in the 1960’s and indeed some are being raced by the original drivers! Anyway The reason for the change is that the Heritage Club are building a replica of Chick Woodroffes car from that period, anyone who goes up the Raceway Tavern have probably seen the car on Chicks Tribute Wall, it is the one in the middle that doubles up as a clock!

TROPHY PRESENTATION DINNER & DANCE

The Dinner & Dance this year is once again being held at the Dartford Hilton on Saturday the 24^th November. All Trophy winners receive 2 free tickets to this event and since we have held it at this venue it has sold out with quite a few disappointed people who left it too late to purchase tickets so inquire now on 01708 867728.
