RINGWOOD RACEWAY

Following a meeting of the Oval Racing Council in June, the ongoing matter of membership for Ringwood Raceway has now been further clarified.

The situation has been that ORC licensed drivers who race at Ringwood Raceway, or any other venue operated by the current management company, may be refused bookings at future ORC events.

Since October 2006, the ORC has had a continued dispute with John Slack, who, whilst fronting the Ringwood Raceway Promotion, had not fulfilled his obligations to the Oval Racing Council. As this matter has now run its course, from 1^st July 2007 Ringwood Raceway, will be considered as any other non ORC venue.

ORC registered drivers who have raced at Ringwood, or who race at Ringwood before the 1^st July2007, will be refused ORC bookings for 8 weeks, from the date that they last raced at Ringwood.

Independent drivers who have raced at Ringwood, or who race at Ringwood before 1^st July 2007, may apply for an ORC license at any time.

From 1^st July 2007, drivers who are ORC registered or otherwise, who race at Ringwood, will not be penalised for doing so by ORC members.

This has been agreed and adopted by all ORC promoters.

ORC Promoters also remind ORC registered drivers that their first consideration should be to race with their own Promotion.
