8^th APRIL    Banger heat wins for 188 Matt & 105 Billy Standing with the final being won by Boxer (again) 196 Joey Palmer won the Rawlins & 174 David Osborn the last car running . Lightning Rod Heat & Final for 239 Rick Pannell with the other 2 heats going to 164 Dave Imber & 106 Brian Smith. 2 Heat wins for 43 Bob Sterling in the SuperBangers with 441 Phil Butler taking the Final win.

9^th APRIL    The first Bank Holiday Monday meeting and the first Banger Team meeting of the season see the wars continue leaving the Condoms & Runners to dominate the racing with the Condoms taking round 1 by 7 points from the Runners and the Gigglers scoring well to take 3^rd place. Group A heat wins went the way of 63 Michael Outen & 100 Mike Collins with 18 Chris Smith the Final winner. In the Ministox 2 Heat wins for 516 Jack Wheelwright with 581 Billy Hull taking the other one and 525 Vinny Madden winning the Final.

15^th APRIL   Disaster strikes in the head to head with RDC, with PRI losing our 100% record in team challenges. With the return leg at Mildenhall on 5^th May the PRI team have it all to do but determination and confidence is high on the agenda. In the 1300 Stock Cars 633 Phil Wise had a meeting to remember taking all 3 races. In the Lightning Rods 164 Dave Imber had another heat win to put him top of the points with 280 Alfie Smith taking a heat & final double.

22^nd APRIL    The Caravan race meeting was a resounding success with a good crowd in to watch the ritual slaughter of 24 Caravans and after some spectacular action with 117 Tony Green ending up upside down in the middle of a massive pile up and 547 Tony McNeil almost clearing the fence, the rerun saw 589 Simon Smith take the win and 241 Paul Korpiela the special award with 547 McNeil the smart Van award and 205 Kieron Briddock the best wrecker award, a real fun day and plenty of mess to clear up afterwards for the Arena Wombles!!! In the racing part of the programme Boxer won heat & final with 105 Billy Standing taking the Rawlins and 336 Ian Smith the last car running. The Ministox heats were won by 516 Jack Wheelwright & 591 Jimmy Galloway who also won the Final and the Helter Skelter with 540 Danny Morrow winning the consolation.

29^th APRIL   The 2^nd 1600cc meeting of the year saw another heat, final & Rawlins 2000 win for Boxer Jack with the other heat going to 103 John Seex and the last car running was Spedeworth visitor 741 Luke Parfitt. In the Outlaws it was heat wins for 100 Dick Burtenshaw 113 Richard Simmons who also took the Final. The Brisca F2’s turned up in force for a W/Q round 393 Chris Cuming won heat & final 324 James Thackra won heat 1 the consolation was won by 401 Barry Goldin and Northern Ireland visitor 271 Gary Chambers took the Grand National.
