ORC TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP. Congratulations to the PRI Team of Boxer Jack, Matt Fuller, Jimmy Randall, Nathan Roberts, Dale & Lee Hughes & Simon & Phil Smith who went to Ipswich on the 18th November and successfully defended the title they won at Swaffham in 2005. Also congratulations to Jack for becoming the first PRI driver to win the Wimbledon World Final on an emotional night for him, and good luck to Jack, Matt, Jimmy and the rest of the drivers out in New Zealand at the moment attempting to win a title on the other side of the world.
TRANSPONDERS The Group A Hot-Rods & 1300 Stock Cars will be joining the Lightning Rods, Ministox & Outlaws by going on to the electronic lap scoring system for the 2007 season. We have managed to keep the Transponders at the 2006 price of £170 and these MUST be purchased at least a week before you are due to race.
NEW ZEALAND The PRI flag is spreading worldwide with Boxer Jack, Matt Fuller, Jimmy Randall, Stuart Palmer and several others including Shane Davies and a couple of Incarace drivers contesting a series of Team events against teams from NZ, Australia the USA and Europe. Good luck to all the drivers taking part and well done to Bob Dunn who arranged the whole thing and is also taking part himself.
CARAVAN RACE Yes we have decided to run another caravan race, its been quite a while since we last had one and thought its about time we had another. The race will be on a 2L meeting and is scheduled for Sunday 22nd April.
TEAM CHALLENGE After successfully beating all previous team challenges home and away it was felt that another challenge should be taken on and with both Camso and RDC willing to take up the challenge negotiations began to take place with both promotions. After many discussions with both parties it was decided to take on RDC in a 30 on 30 Team Challenge on the 15th April at Arena and 5th May at Mildenhall.
RINGWOOD As many of you may know Spedeworth no longer run meetings at Ringwood, at the moment this is a very political hot potato and as a result the ORC have issued a directive to all drivers warning them that if they race at Ringwood under the present Promotion they will be refused bookings at all other ORC tracks. Until this matter is resolved one way or another no PRI driver should race at Ringwood. |
