WANTED 2 x HIAB min 7.5 ton Owner / Drivers for the East of London area. Approx. 2 months contract between January – April 2007. It is vital that you are able and willing to work hands on with an experienced technician in addition to providing and operating a HIAB. Own public liability insurance required. CHAMPIONS Congratulations to all the winning drivers in the 2006 PRI Drivers Points Charts. The winners plus the second and third place drivers will all attend the annual Trophy Presentation Dinner & Dance on the 25th November to collect their well earned Silverware. Nearly all the places went down to the wire and indeed several went down to the last races to decide places. Check out the points charts to see who did what. One formula did not go down to the wire though and that was because Boxer Jack just had one of those years that every one dreams about, he not only broke the record for number of points scored, he also beat Russ McAngus’s long time record of 10 finals in a season and also goes to the top of the Bangers all time Final winners list by overtaking Chris Whitemans record of 25. Boxer won his 1st Arena Final in 2000, Chris won his last one in 1999 and Russ’s was in 1998.

SATURDAY PRACTISE Saturday practise sessions have now finished for this year but will reopen on Saturday 3rd February 2007. Midweek practise is available all year round subject to availability, but must be booked in advance on 01708 867728.

THURSDAY NIGHTS The last Thursday night of the year in the Raceway Tavern is on Thursday 16th November and will reopen on Thursday 22nd February 2007.

ORC TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The PRI Team going to Ipswich on the 18th November to defend the title they won at Swaffham last year will be 331 – 188 – 46 – 24 – 227 – 208 – 456 & 549. We also have six Ministox at the same meeting and they are 591 – 503 – 571 – 541 – 580 & 525. The Ministox are allowed to use any diff and it will be contact BUT it is NOT a team race.

OVAL RACING EXPO The Oval Racing Expo on January 20/21 2007 will require 10 cars from the F2’s, Super Bangers, Group A Hot-Rods, Lightning Rods & 1300 Stock Cars plus all Ministox for demo races on the Sunday only. Please phone the office if you want to book in for this event. Points order will determine who gets it.

TRANSPONDERS The Group A Hot-Rods & 1300 Stock Cars will be joining the Lightning Rods, Ministox & Outlaws by going on to the electronic lap scoring system for the 2007 season. We have managed to keep the Transponders at the 2006 price of £170 and these MUST be purchased at least a week before you are due to race. If you are thinking of doing the Oval Expo the Transponders must be purchased BEFORE this event.
